While practicing in Rhode Island, he was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Brown University Medical School, where he taught Medical students for several years.

In addition, Dr. Attia holds a certificate in acupuncture from New York Medical College.

During his more than 32 years of experience, Dr. Attia has practiced his profession all over the world, including Europe, the Middle East, Canada and the United States of America, he is now director of the center New York Internal Medicine, a multispecialty medical center in New York City.
